Dunafon Castle

As I write this section it seems hard to believe it’s been a decade or more since I’ve covered a wedding and been on the grounds of this truly amazing Colorado wedding venue. My assistant and I documented two weddings here in 2008 and we made an impression on Annie the venue coordinator I suppose, we were her recommended wedding photographers from 2009 until the end of 2014 when I moved away from weddings for health reasons. Regardless we did step out of retirement to cover the wedding of Mike Dunafon in 2015.

I feel fortunate that I was able to work at so many of Colorado’s truly amazing wedding venues over the years but truly believe Dunafon Castle truly was the best of the best. The Dunafon family has done such an amazing job on the landscaping of the grounds it truly was like stepping into a fairytale. There are a lot of things I miss about retiring from wedding photography, not walking the grounds of this amazing venue is high on that list.
